Wrapped oil pastels, in cardboard box, 12 colors.
You immediately notice how mellow, soft, shiny they are (but your hands don't get dirty thanks to the handy strap). They slide easily on the sheet and it is interesting to experiment with light or thicker and overlapping layers, perhaps to be blended with your fingers.
