The skin-compatible Kintex Classic Tape for kinesiology applications is very adaptable and stretchable due to the wave-shaped structure in S-shape of the hypoallergenic acrylic adhesive. Optimal adaptation to the structures of the human body such as the skin, fascia, muscles, meridians, etc. is ensured and promoted by our tape. Our kinesiology tape is very durable, waterproof and tear-resistant.

Comfort of application and duration of application

Already a few minutes after applying the tape, it is no longer perceived as disturbing and therefore there is no restraint or restriction of activities due to the tape bandage. Swimming, bathing, showering or doing sports is possible with the bandage without any problems. The breathable material of the tape allows sweating and allows the skin underneath to breathe.

The duration of application of the kinesiology tape is about one week, with the main effect occurring in the first 3-5 days after application. Allergic reactions rarely occur during the application of the tape. These are usually caused by current medication or intensified by simultaneous alcohol or nicotine consumption. Tips & tricks

Application:

When applying the tape, it is essential not to touch the adhesive surface. The adhesive reacts to heat and is activated by it. Stretching the tape strip causes the tape to tear in the middle, and the backing paper detaches. Now the tape can be applied without touching the adhesive surface.

Pre-tension:

Kintex kinesiology tape is pre-tensioned to the backing paper by 10%. This means that when you apply the tape without additional tension, it is already pre-tensioned.

Taping checklist:

• Remove any hair from the area to be taped
• Clean the skin of dirt and oils
• Avoid using body lotion or body oils on the area
• Round off the corners of the tape
• Do not touch the adhesive surface while taping
• Apply the tape approximately 2-3 hours before exercise
• Carefully smooth down the finished tape application
• Dress carefully
• Gently dry wet tape with a hairdryer
• Remove with water or cooking oil
